Eileen Dwyer, President-Elect

Eileen M. Dwyer opened the doors of Dwyer Professional Services, located in Bryn Mawr, PA, in November, 1993. Rapid expansion led to a second location in West Chester, PA, to open in February, 1994. Due to explosive growth during the first two years in business, it was necessary to explore the possibility of selling to a national company that could provide the technical support and expertise necessary to compete in our ever-changing environment. Dwyer Professional Services sold to Rodeer Systems in January, 1996 and Eileen Dwyer was assigned the role of Vice President/Eastern Operations.

In January, 1999, Rodeer Systems sold the two Dwyer locations (Bryn Mawr and West Chester, PA) to MedQuist Inc. Eileen Dwyer became an employee of MedQuist performing the role of Vice President/Acquisition Transition reporting to John Donohue/COO of MedQuist.

In April, 1993, Eileen assumed the position of Corporate Vice President/Client Advocacy at MedQuist, a position she still holds today.

Eileen has been a member of MTIA Board Of Directors since 1994, serving as Secretary for two years (1997-1998) and Treasurer for two years (1999-2000). It has been a tremendous privilege and a wonderful experience to work with the talented members of MTIA and the Board of Directors of MTIA and it is quite evident that we are on focused on providing many more opportunities/benefits for our membership as we look forward to 2006 and beyond.
