Maria Thomas French, Director

Maria Thomas French is the founder of Terra Nova Transcription, established in 2001, servicing clients in Canada and the United States.

She has been a member of MTIA since 2001, and a serving Board Member since 2006. She has served as Chair of MTIA’s Small Business Committee (2004-2005) and as Chair of the Business Development Committee (2006-2007). Since 2008 she has chaired the MTIA Marketing Committee.

Ms. Thomas French is a the CEO of Terra Nova and a principal in RTH Management Consultants Inc., a business management consulting firm, servicing the Atlantic Canadian market. Her entrepreneurial career path has been in many industries over the last thirty years, and she has served on many industry and community boards. Head office of Terra Nova is in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada, with its US office located in Tampa, Florida.
